Ted W. Smith, president and founder, has been marketing insurance in the Rochester area since 1993 primarily for one company in what is known as a captive market. The insurance industry has changed dramatically in recent years, so in 2006 Ted decided representing only one company was no longer in his customers best interest. Therefore, the decision to become an independent Insurance Agent was made. This allows the agency to offer many more companies, products, and services than were available in the past. Since client satisfaction is the top priority, Ted felt that an independent agency will best serve his clients needs now and into the future.
